on roker pier this morn from 4-30 till 9 n not one macky on pier anywere..

Not much better on Seaham pier only odd ones here and there and a few sandeels

Hi. Had a walk along blyth pier 6.30 Thursday night. (Saw mick the posties car in the car park ) About a dozen rods spinning. But no mackerel. Sea flat calm at high tide

on roker pier this morning from 8 till 12 n not a single macky on pier..good few rods out aswell.

Out on the boat of seaham and very poor only picked up half a dozen in the last week or so..

not a good sign.poor start to season..all july n august n into september to go yet..

well i went down roker pier sat morning n was fishing from 5 till 8-30..caught a few n enjoyed a bit sport..was lovely weather..only one thing spoilt it....it was like fishing in a foreign country..
