Longbenton & Seaton Burn Thursday League.

Today, Thursday 17 January - Tynemouth Pier. Members of Longbenton & Seaton Burn SAC braved the cold to fish in the club's January Thursday/Midweek League Match. The whiting came out to play!

1st) Davey Jones first place with 38lb 10oz yes that did just read 38lb! WoW !

2nd) Stephen Park with 23lb dead.

3rd) Stephen Bell with 13lb 15oz

4th) David Sproat with 9lb dead.

5th) Gabriel Saddington with 7lb 3oz .

6th) John Jobling 2lb 12oz.

Joint 7th was Kelvin Davidson 1lb 7oz & Ray Armstrong 1lb 7oz.

Heaviest fish was Davey Jones codling at 3lb 6oz.

Species Caught nearly all whiting with some Dab codling and coalie.
