You know, something you'd take to a car boot sale for instance, the reason is that I'm trying to mend a Daiwa 'Emcast Carp' telescopic rod that I broke the tip section off in my own car boot! I need a plain, fairly stiff tip section thats 805mm long with an outside diameter of 6.70mm, tapering to 2.60mm at the tip with an internal diameter of 4mm at the fat end. I've managed to get all the old piece out by taking the butt cap off & knocking the broken bit out with a drift so all (all) i need is a similar tip length. I mailed Daiwa when I 1st did it but they were no help at all ( I bought the rod in France about 10 years ago & paid about £30 for it & I love it) I've even mailed Century today just in case they can help out, I'm that desperate. Last year I bought a Shakespeare Agility Flattie spinner but it just aint the same. HELP! Ps, It's (was) 11'6" with a test curve of 3lb.
