Lots of small fish,getting hit as the bait landed,all at distance though.
I tried dropping in close to the pipe about 50 yards out but nothing.
In all i had 4 whiting,two small codling and two flatties,the last one being a keeper but i didn't bother.
Best bait,worm,rag or lug. they didn't touch razor,squid,mackie and even some scallops i found in the back of the freezer.
Fished two hours up to H/T,action did slow at high water.
Lad coming off the pier as i was kitting up said it was quiet though he had got a cod of 3 pound.
There was quite a few rods out at Blyth last night.
The sea i must saw was just about spot on.
