Well, I guess it depends on where you\'re talking about when referring to \"Hebburn Marina\".
I\'ve always classed this as \"Hebburn Marina\" (although the jetty is new)

If this is where you\'re talking about, it\'s 208.75m......approximately.......well, EXACTLY, really....lol

We will have to meet up one day Jonny and you can show me, its about 210 yds approx if you get it on the other side but if you cast from the top its higher so you get more distance ,I usually cast out of the car park when its quiet

Hebburn marina.......not as shown in the pic, i meen further down where the green barriers are.......stephen has also hit the over side.........when i say hit.......i dont mean literally touching the other side.......i just mean about 10 foot off....or so it looks like it from my point of view.......must get some glasses then lads ey.

well it must be further then it looks lads.......i dont think i would be able to manage 200yards infact i no i couldnt...........150TOPS at the moment for me lads......but i am still growing .......6ft exactly at this moment of time....size 12-13 shoe........

I would like to know the exact distance if someone knows . Jonny its nowt to do with the size of the caster its all in the technique although a good big caster will beat a good small caster.

Simon, if you give me the exact location along the riverbank you\'re talking about, I can get the precise distance from bank to bank on Monday.

Let me know if you\'d prefer the measurement in yards, meters or feet.

The distance I mentioned in the above post is EXACT from the south bank (new jetty) to the North bank.

That\'s nice of you Tony, its the far end where the road ends at the car park straight across the river from wellstream in meters or yards, whichever is easiest

Jonny if your fishing where i think you mean ,your casting Way to far ,you only need about 75 - 80 yds and you get into a Deep gully ,casting towards the Building / hanger type thing on the North side ,you need to look for the light on the very end (left of building) and chuck towards it ,when you hit the water let your lead hit the bottom before engaging your spool(and you will feel how deep it is) on the retrieve though you have to \"pedal\" like f*ck to get your lead over a ridge/morris mariner/old cortina or you lose the lot.

So your 150yds is wasted at this spot
