saw a couple lads walking in that area away, dont know where they been fishing, noticed the waves seem to be lower just right of shauns mark, and not direct onto the beach, more running from right to left untill you reach white rock area were they head on, just one hell of a back surge no matter where you are, low may be a better option to fish, the sand that was there the other day when i had the dogs out is now near black with coal being left washed up, nice when it drops off i think

The sea was exactly the same last night and I fished it alright, there were a few hairy moments when bringing fish through the undertow but generally it was no bother. The swell is moving left to right Mike and at low water the surf is excellent. Alan you're spot on about the difference between the north and south. I think the rocks at the north end break up the swell.

one these days i will get my left and right the correct way round lol, forgot about that rock skree breaking the water up, hopin to get a rod or two in water in the next couple, and i hope you left some fish to catch lol
