Another vote for this lamp from me, has 2 settings and even the lower one is very bright. Much brighter than any light I have seen, so bright in fact that you will p*** off other anglers trying to sneek fish in during darkness!!
Battery lasts for ages on 1 charge and is fully sealed with a meter showing the remaining battery power, useful if you want to know how much battery power you have left. Got mine for £60 and money well spent. They are mountain biking lamps but you get a headpiece and also a spare lens in the box.
Brighter than Tigas and the samalite and speleo cree's and up to £200 cheaper!!

Only negative is you may need to order a 1 meter extension cable if you like the battery pack in a low pocket or on your belt.

I have a £10 300 lumen cree and whilst these do a good job for the money they are not a patch on the magicshines.

If you want a real lighthouse there is an even brighter 1500 lumen version!!!
