Guide to owning a small boat

I remember reading a piece on the old side by Alan Charlton about \'owning a small boat\' but can\'t find it on the new site. Does anybody know if it was transfered to the new site and am i just looking in the wrong place. Failing that does any body have a copy of it they could email me .

A couple of basic reccommendations Marc
1. Dont play Chicken with ferries.
2. Dont fish in firing range (especially whilst they are firing)
3. keep your VHF battery charged (in case your in firing range and don`t know it)
