Grey's waterproof smock

Has anybody had any good/bad experiences with the Greys waterproof smock? Would love to hear any opinions before I part with £50.

I wear this one its Very good in bad weather, But you do need good warm kit under it. it gets a :thumbup: from me

I wear the Grey's Appollo hooded fleece smock under that and they are a great combo when it is VERY cold. If it is not quite as cold you can get away with a normal fleece. I do agree with Jaguar, wouldn't wear it just by itself if it is cold though. As far as waterproof goes it is the best I have bought since I started fishing over thirty years ago.

I have one the same as jaguar, very very good to wear, and comfortable to fish in even for a little fatty like me.

Good point Keith, they are very comfortable. One tip though, get a size larger than you normally would as it leaves plenty of room for your fleece underneath. A certain mate of mine only got an XXL and it looks a wee bit snug on him.

Well after searching the country high & low Iv'e finally managed to obtain one, what a job that was... all local tackle shop's (this side and the other of the water!) totally sold out, rang Grey's direct - earliest possible is next February! Picked up a copy of Sea Angler and started ringing around all mail order companies in desperation... after 4 successive knock backs Veals of Bristol declared they had 1 left and its now on its way to my good self! Must be good as Grey's just can't seem to make them quick enough!
