CVFM "Gone Fishing" Radio Show returns to the air this Saturday 9th July and can be heard live every Saturday from 8 am to 9 am on Home - 104.5 CVFM Radio - Middlesbrough ... "Listen Live". Freshwater fishing, Coarse fishing and Sea Angling will be reported by the team. Angling has been given a promotions boost as both the Environment Agency and Sport England have invested in two new 'Angling Promotions Officers' to increase rod licence sales and angling participation figures. I will be joined on the programme on Saturday by keen specialist angler Will Smith who works to attract more anglers into the sport and boost rod licence sales and England Carp Team Manager and highly respected carp angler Rob Hughes who is employed to achieve Sport England's aims of getting more people fishing more often. As well as these representatives from the Angling Trust, Sarah Collins, Chief Executive of the Charity "Get Hooked On Fishing" will also be joining the discussion to explain how they are all working together to boost angler numbers. The three join the Show from the family fishing flagship event running at "Fish O'Mania" which is being held on Saturday.
