had a shot at eyemouth yesterday up at the golf course area got there early so could get the mark I wanted" set up me float gear using macky and sand eel then started spinning after half dozen casts started fishing as usual plagued by small coleys spent about a hour throwing the little ****s back but once the tide started to turn the bigger fish moved in first one was a Pollack between 3-4 lb and and then some canny sized coleys which went back had another two Pollack about the 2lb mark and lovely red coloured cod which took a red tail fished on till bottom water and over but back to those small coleys nowt on the float but a canny session anyway

nice one broon shoe.seems like we picked a canny day for it.seen a couple of anglers fishing just round past harbour,was that you?

no m8 I was a bit further south just to the right of the golf club house theirs a little island just stayed on there through the tide canny spot there were plenty lads out float fishing and bait
 
Nice fish mate, we were supposed to go over that way but you know what its like when there's fish where you already are like. It was a cracking day for it though.
