Dunstanborough Castle advice

Hi lads,
Heading up to the above venue in a few weeks, I intend to fish one rod with crab baits down the ledges for Wrasse (caught some lovely Ballans there last summer) but want to use a second road either float fishing or some kind of lure. Does anyone have a preferred method for this area and what to target on a light/ medium spinning rod, last year I just got plagued with tiny Coalies on the float.
Any info would be greatly appreciated

WOULD,think there should be plenty mackeral about,in a couple of weeks {if not now}.
