I bought a lovely pair of second hand Snowbee waders off e-bay last year but was conned.
They look fine until you wear them and you go above thigh hieght-then my ba--s get wet.
No rips or tears i just think the neoprene is worn but it looks fine.
Checked on flea bay for some type of water resistant spray for neoprene but unable to find anything.
I am watching some Sonik studded waders at £120 but in two minds.
I diud buy some Diawa new before the Snowbees but these were rubbish and leaked after a few sessions.
Main reason i want them is for the reservoirs and beach.

Mick.

Might be worth going over the seams with a dab of Stormseal - older neoprenes often seem to go around the crotch. Or you could pump them full of air & plunge them in the bath to see if there's a pinhole leak somewhere.

Gary :)

If you fix those waders i will personally ensure you die a horrible slow painful death. You convinced me last week that once chesties started to leak they were finished.

Hence why mine got threw in the bin!!! if you manage to fix yours i will not be a happy bunny !! :red:

if true.... tut tut mick lol

Get yourself along to the new North East Angling Show on the 15th, 16th and 17th April and take a look at the Waders and Waterproofs from a company called VASS.
I'm sure you will be impressed both with the products and the prices.
Its being held at the Seaburn Centre, Sunderland.

Thanks for the replies lads. The good new is my sack soon dried out once they were off. The bad news is i really do need new ones theres no getting away from it-i,m just peed off as they do look fine-no holes or tears-its just age related the neoprene must disintegrate.
Now how much do i owe on the credit card.
Mick.
