Blyth pier Sunday

Arrived at blyth pier around 8-30am only 3 rods fishing. -2degs. and a good covering of snow on the boards. 1st chuck at the bend with lug, within 1 minute a decent bite, and a codling about 2/1/4lb. 2 more chucks but only pulled in weed, so moved to the end. The 3 lads that were there had only 1 fish that they put back, anyway, cast in and got one about 2.1/2lb then one about a 1.1/4. Went quiet for a while, the came back on, with a one about 3lb. 2 other lads I know arrived with black runnydowns and snake whites and were soon into fish as well. I ended up with 7 to take home and plenty other bites and a couple put back. The 2 lads had 8 fish between them when I left at 3pm. My best fish about 5lb, so all in all, a good session, even with a bad back. Every strike was accompanied with an oooouch:D:D:D A couple of pics

Well Done!

Looks like the pier produced Saturday and Sunday! From what I can gather the beach has been producing also! It's great to see so many lads producing some cracking bags of Cod!
