Bag or Box?

Done a bit of roving this weekend - seaham hall beach - roker pier and hebburn marina, but all 3 trips included carrying me box - I use a toolbox from B&Q with wheels - what a pain in the harris its was to cart along the beach, carry up and down the stairs, and what a freekin racket it made trundling along the pier.

So am thinking of a back pack or box, any suggestions. Am leaning towards a backpack, box and conversion shoulders is expensive for what its is.

deffo a backpack, i use a prologic carp rucksack its got rubber base and the material is waterproof, and it has more pouches than a herd of kangeroos

I just use a back pack I bought a small tool box in wilkinson for a quid I stick my leads and stuff in that, it fits nicely into the back pack with reels etc on top of it. I find it a lot more comfy than lumping a box about but there is alot more space for extras in a box.

Has it got a re-inforced bottom!!!!:D

Hello. Rite mate, here are your 2 best options you will hear.

Option 1: Buy yourself a shakespeare beta box. Good size and will hold all you need. In conjunction with this, you can buy either a Shakespeare sherpa, anyfish anywhere or breakaway seatbox conversions, with the sherpa conversion being the cheapest and simplest of the three, yet still very effective. Plus, its a box, so you've got a seat and a hard material protecting your tackle items from the elements.

Option 2: In my opinion, because I own and use one on a regular basis, the Greys Apollo Rucksack is the best bag on the market today. 1 large internal capacity, 2 narrow but deep external side pockets, adjustable shoulder straps, adjustable waste strap, and best of all, it has an absolute solid plastic bottom, hard as, mines seen me through the roughest terrain, and its still goin strong for me today.

These are probably the two best choices for you, so choose wisely between the two, but with either one, you will not be disapointed. ;) :)
