There can be a lot more if you want it to be.  Luckily (or unluckily - however you look at it) I'm governed by the kids and her indoors as to when I can go out fishing, as I'm sure a lot of others on here are, so I just get out when I can and hope for the best.  I'm getting to  know a lot of the technical stuff (wind direction, temp, off shore swells, tides, pressure etc) but it doesn't make any difference to me lol
