39 members braved the wind today on Tynemouth pier and 18 were rewarded with fish of some sort. Mainly coaly , pouting and a few small codling. We were fishing for the Hector Macloud Trophy from 10 til 2-30.

1st Doug Spivey 6 coaly, 1 pouting 8 lb
2nd Alan Norman 5 coaly, 1 pouting 5 lb
3rd Steve Harper 2 codling,1 whitting 4 lb 12 ozs

H/F Steve Harper codling 2 lb 1 ozs

Not bad seems more pouting this year than i can remember from the shore, infact i have only ever caught 2 from the shore..bloody loads from the boat mainly north of the Tyne.
