I've scanned the various documents relative to the latest traunch of Marine Conservation Zones. The outline map showing the boundries and extent of the Coquet to St Mary's conservation zone is mostly a straight line approx 1 mile offshore opening up to approx 3 mile offshore at the North and South limits. The conservation area is less than 200 square nautical miles but there's no clear indication as to what restrictions will be imposed in the name of conservation.
I think their main push is biased towards sea bed conservation but the local potters don't do any harm and neither do the shore or boat anglers so I'm struggling to see how we can help in that regard.
