I have removed the reel seat to the bottom of the butt,its taped there,makes reeling in easy.the rod has been used off the rocks so has a few scrapes but nothing bad.also has the rod bag.
the reel is as new and loaded with 300 yards of 88lb power pro braid,reel is boxed
great set up for rough ground .nice tip for braid fishing and can chuck 6oz plus a big bait no probs.with the reel at the bottom its great for cranking in through kelp ect
