Well I got out for what I call a session,(over 3 hours) I've had three short sessions since mid December. I'm a dad now of a great little boy who I'd rather spend my time with obviously. He's two so it's a great time at mo as all you dad's will know. So with having a heavy cold for two weeks I eventually get a sesh Saturday night only to see the sea building big whilst out with the dog on the beach. So after getting some great worm from NETS, fresh lug and fresh blacks (I actually watched Gary prep some blacks fresh on site). I asked my usual request to the young big bad Brad 'put all the begins in mate', all worm was class and all fish took worm only. So I headed off to Hendon prom to get a bit of height to hold bottom, it was chocker. Four hours before high tide and first cast 1 codling at 1.5 lb nice start I thought then nothing for 3 hours. It was hard going all night with most casts catching baby wipes and tampons and very few fish caught considering the rods out. Anyway I ended up with a few coalies (1 being 42cm my biggest) a flatty and two codling biggest 4lb. I'll head for the rocks now to try and get the coveted double I crave. For all you guys who like scenery etc nothing to mention apart from I thought I saw a monster/ape like thing but it was only the prom care taker Mr Codmagnet lol.
