Cracking session tonight in a slightly less mad sea and minus -2 degess c

Chuffed with 9.5lb - weighed by a couple of lads near the rat house. A crab off a doubler.

Venue - Whitburn beach on the flood, when everyone had gone.

Bait - Lug, rag and razor. Think it was the razor....

Credit goes to Mr Rutherford for mark suggestion and Davey at Trading Post for the top bait.

Sorry about crap picture.

Am taking a side bet on how many lights on the beach tomorrow night?

Nice result there mate, could only manage a small one tonight, although me mate managed one just over 4lb. Fishing up this way seems to have been very poor by all accounts I've heard so far tonight :(

get in there jimbob nice catch and bag .i managed 10 total out last night 9 codling and a coalie 7 size codling kept 6 for 12.1lb (scales sorted) one was realease cos i foul hooked it in the tail so it deserved a second chance mostly 2lbers best fish 3lb.13

Hi.

Nice session there. On that picture, is the fish nearest the box supposed to be the near double?? If the other fish are 1.5lb each, you will be lucky if that fish is 4lb???

I'm not knocking your fish, just curious of the weights. Either that, or your box must be huge!

I imagine a few lol. Nice to meet you last night. Seems I got there just after fish and left just before lol. Lovely fish there mate and the biggest from that mark for a while. Hope there's more to come. If I was more organised I would have still been fishing and could have got it myself. Well done buddy

So you're saying it doesn't look 4 times bigger than the smaller fish?

It looks 9.5lb to me, and I've had a few.

definately 9.5lb weighed by me and my mate. i will put the picture on jimbob when i find the lead for my phone
