Sea is raging! Wind was straight easterly and at a guess it was around 25-30mph!
1st pic is Marsden bay from north row ends and the second is the big beach at South Shields looking towards the south pier. The picks were taken around 12-1230 ish

i had some lunch inthe bamburgh jamie, it got bigger mate it was crashing over the pier all the way along
