    aye ya rite there alan itll be like a rig module,that geezer in hong kong must be mekin a mint,all be popin over for some liqorice mesel through week,slite hangover today had two double g and tees and four cans o suds last nite,watched laurel and hardy dvds till midnight always get a laff at them never be anybody like them again.ttfn.

    I went down to flash and got a couple of packets of liquorice and a couple of packets of mussel, its nice to have something in the freezer just in case I fancy a couple of hours. I hope them who bought all those lamps of the net don't descend on blyth pier all at the same time or it'll look like santa's f##**##g grotto

    Hi stevie was feeling a bit rough sunday morning not drink, went to lyneburn had a couple of casts (nice roll on) but nowt so went south past the alcan various decent looking shot but to no avail 7.30am till 2.00pm one big lunge but no coconut. Had some cracking bait too big pile of blow lug, mussel, razor,squid, mackerel and runnydown. Ended up absolutely ill, coughing, spewing thuoght i was,nt going to make it off the beach my head felt like it was going to explode. Yep you guessed it f###%*g swine flu, where the bulls balls have I getting this from. I've been off work all week, aye I know it's only tuesday but i've just managed to get out of bed and still feel ****e so i'm going to have a wee G&T to cheer myself up cheers.

    Hi stevie i'm going for a couple of sherbits tonight,(Birthday) don't think the wind will be easing till early sunday morning,so i'm targeting sunday morning for my next assault maybe cresswell or lynemouth one of the two should fish. I think i'll try temples for some lugworm tomorrow ready for early dawn attack. going to give the full BIFFTA

    Went to the sluice myself last night, tucked in the corner just north of high dunes. "would you believe i forgot my waders and top of flask" still gave it a go with boots on, put everything into the casting and managed to pull 2 out though smallish 1-3/4 maybe not what i was looking for went back. It was fish-able in-part and only became a problem when tide changed the weed became an absolute nuisance so came home around nine-ish so i could drink from a cup instead of burning my gob on flask mouth. You out tonight Stevie if so give me a bell. Later Man

    There's a proper car park now Stevie anyway it was sh+te the weed was horrendous fished blyth beach got 2 small codling about 1-3/4lb about 1 hour into the flood. By the way stevie you want out tomorrow the sea is as big as a house. I was out sunday i'm still dodgy now, takes me 3 days to recover now so you won't be the only one giving it a miss great at the time though

    Read your report Stevie, it can be tough on that pier, i think i'll try my luck at lynemouth tonight, I had a trip down there and asked about parking probs with the idiots, guard said there had been no probs at all. The letting tyres down where mates fishing club comp trying to make his mate late for weigh-in(some mate him eh).

    at least you got back ok alan,think ill leave the fishin for a few days till weather changes,did you read artickle about them kyack fishermen dogy game two of them were swept away on the mog about three year ago i wouldnt do it, not worth it its bad enough on the boat sometimes,been to garden a lot but gettin abit sick of it,ill have two take up knittin again,any way c u later ttfn .

    Well you did better than me stevie went to amble on the boat, went out to rough, tried to get back in couldn't the tide had went out and the outboard had sucked sand into intakes and started to steam up. Ended up being towed in, day wasted never wet a line.

    stevie might go and try to dig a few worms tomorrow morning since its such a big tide and go into river for a bucket of mussel if i can be bothered that is. Been for xray today on knee and blood tests monday , don't get results for 7-10days though keeping fingers crossed everything ok had some bother over the years ham. did you see my pics of my session on friday afternoon. Boat section - catch reports- afternoon session at amble.
