hi jimbob ,thanks for that supporting posting, i really got a bit ****ed off from the negative attitudes from some people on this site, i was only telling it as
i saw it on the day,there was a lot of cod landed that day, i was only trying to tell people that if you go fishing that night your best bet is the steetly, then they started to question my 4.1/2 codling i landed [no pics ]I'm not that vain, a cod that size is not worth a photo, maybe if it was 15/20lbs then i would of taken a photo, anyway thanks a lot, and I'm chuffed to bits you got a decent fish on your first visit, PS. and it is a bit of a weird pier to fish, but occasionally it really doe's fish it's socks off

Got a Komp SS myself. Quite a beast. Prefer the Sonik TBH. Will only use it for hauling up the sea's plug type fishing.

Only been out twice this month m8,been having probs with right leg and numbness in left hand ,all just trapped nerves in the usual spot.B een getting a Komp SS ,lovely rod.Getting as bad as you for gear.

You been out lately m8 or are you still chewing your way through that big cod ,lol

Stuff the macky get some sandeels in for the winter.
