News Release From Net Gain
Next week sees the start of a two week programme of roadshow events to be hosted by Net Gain: The North Sea Marine Conservation Zones Project. The project team, based in Hull, hopes that the roadshow will mark the beginning of a strong working relationship with as many sea users and interest groups as possible throughout the Net Gain project area, which runs from the Scottish border in the north to Felixstowe in the south. This series of public meetings will act as an introduction to the project and will outline how people can get involved.
Joanna Redhead, Net Gain Project Manager says
‘We hope that as many people as possible that have an interest in the future of the North Sea come along to our roadshow. It is important to outline the project and the various ways that people can get involved. This is a once in a life time chance, we are ‘handing over the pen’ to the people who use and value the sea so that they themselves can identify the MCZ sites that are needed to meet the government’s targets.”
