Capable of being fitted either flush with a dash or on a gimballed bracket, the MD80i is ideal for both open boats and RIBs, and in the cockpits or fly-bridges of larger cruising yachts.
This versatile unit comes with an integral AM/FM tuner and in US waters will receive Sirius Satellite radio channels. Perhaps most important of all is its secure, internal watertight media dock with simple, flip-down face access. Capable of taking a range of digital music players, the internal dock accepts not just the standard iPods, iPhones and MP3 players but is also large enough for Blackberries, Android phones and other similar multifunction devices. It also has an SD card reader and a USB socket within the waterproof compartment.
The unit additionally features rotary knob controls for easy volume and function selection and preset buttons, plus a 2×16 character digital display with adjustable backlight.
