    fancy a chat

Now then Darren, my name's Lee. You must be the Darren that Stef was telling me about, mad on fishing! He gave me your Noggy number so I'll get in touch when I get back out next week sometime. I'm staying in Sola, found a nice deep water rock mark near Olberg where I've had some Kelpies on...

    steetly pier

Fished well Thursday daytime with plenty up to 6lb, also heard of a 12lber but didn't see it meself. Thursday night was patchy with fish to 4lb and a 3lb Haddock. Was only small Coalies and Dabs today, with Whities coming on in the dark as I left, a couple of doggies were caught though, and a...

A Conger's upper jaw extends further than the lower jaw, and it's dorsal fin starts at the pectoral fin. A Common's lower jaw extends further than the upper, and it's dorsal fin starts further down it's back. Sorry, I can't help you with the difference between a Cod and a Ling!

    Catch report Dunstanburgh Castle

Yes TC I did, and have read it. Likewise, when someone tells me they caught a fish, my immediate response is \'how did you get it off the hook?\'

    Catch report Dunstanburgh Castle

Hmm, the RSPCF, good one conger! Charlie has done nothing at all wrong. He just done something that he wasn\'t aware of, and that\'s why I originally posted to make him, and others aware of the weakness of a mackeral as there was nothing on the site to inform anyone of this. Now that Charlie...

    Catch report Dunstanburgh Castle

That quote is probably correct morgs, I wouldn\'t have thought all fish to die. As in catch 300, keep 21, release 279, 300 die!

I think the reason there is an interest in how you returned your fish Charlie, is because mackeral die after being handled. I\'d guess a very, very high percentage of anglers, especially the mackeral brigade, don\'t know about the fragile flesh of a mackeral, as it hasn\'t really been known...

    What\'s your question?

roker pier, 2 pound coley by safcman!!!

I\'d rather eat a pouting, coalies should be returned unless injured badly, they are are strong, tough fish that doesn\'t taste too good in my opinion. But if you like them, keep them.

    which would u choose

Sounds like a belter of a rod lew! Never seen one in the flesh mind.

    last chance for the Pools!!!!

Try the Steetley Pier in Hartlepool mate, it\'ll save you a journey. High water early in the morning for plenty of mackeral, or bait fish anytime for flatties.

    Admirality chart?

Can anyone tell me which admirality chart number I\'d need for the inshore waters around Hartlepool please. I\'ve looked through loads of them and can\'t find any I recognise. Cheers, Lee.
