I keep them but in a few mills of water and just to bring them on. Not sure if that's what they mean or not but I've heard loads of people talking about what you're wanting to do, just none with any success. I really hope you manage it bud. Let me know anyway, cheers
hi their. my name is mark. just got back into fishing after twenty years.im a local man from jarrow, currently i fish with a century eliminator fishing rod and a mag525. i have aslo a slosh 30 and a 7ht tornment caster.ive got a lot to learn again about fishing. my ambition is to catch a big fish 6lb plus and improve on my casting. my ultimate ambition is to buy a boat with the permission of the wife, but that will never happen. good luck to you all.
great i love the cold or did when i fished years okay in the winter. no people walking about like in the summer stopping you casting. no silly young kids say can i have a weight. you know what i mean. cant wait for the winter. better get prepared though, have to stock up on things to keep me warm. did you read the post about the rod that was sold to somebody and was no good on this site. if you didnt you want to read it and give your comment.
    cheers mark
Yes on south shields pier. There was only a very slight sea movement that day, but bloody cold hahahaha! :D
Hi mate yes that cod of 14lb 11ozs was caught by Phil on the 23/01/2011 during a club match that I was fishing to. I was fishing next to him at the time.

He caught it on a clip-down pennel pulley rig armed with 3/0 Sakuma Manta extra hooks and used with yellowtail lugworm, slightly tipped off with a small piece of frozen crab.
