Tackle giant Fladen is delighted to announce the signing of celebrity TV star Matt Hayes in a five year sponsorship.
The deal will see the company develop an extensive new range of signature products for sale in major stores outside traditional angling outlets.
The agreement follows the completion of two new television shows by Matt that will be screened in as many as 130 countries.
Both parties hope the global marketing push, coupled with carefully designed products, will take angling to a mass market and help grow the sport by removing technical barriers.
Matt said: “I’m delighted to have signed for Fladen as we share a simple yet powerful vision ‘Anyone Can Fish’. By creating good tackle, that is well priced and easy to use, and then putting it in front of a wide audience, we can help existing anglers catch more fish, but also open the door for newcomers into the sport.”
