Honda will once again return as official automotive sponsor of the Southampton International Boat Show for 2007. In what has become an integral part of the UK’s most influential marine show, Honda will stage a huge 800 square metre stand displaying an amazing array of Honda products including marine engines, inflatables, All Terrain Vehicles, cars, motorcycles and generators.
Visitors to the show can expect to be absorbed in the ‘Power of Dreams’ experience when they take a trip to the stand when the show opens on 14 September. Created to inspire and excite on land as well as water, there’s something for everyone including the chance to test your skills as a racing driver by tackling a circuit in Honda’s unique F1 car simulator.
Visitors will be treated to Honda’s extensive range of Honwave inflatables in addition to a comprehensive variety of Marine products including its industry-leading 4-stroke outboards ranging from 2.3hp to 225hp. For those with serious intent a range of Honda powered craft will be available in the Marina to experience the performance of a Honda outboard on the water.
Yet more engines can be found on display in the form of various products from Honda’s entire portfolio including energy products such as water pumps and generators, examples of some stunning machines from its ATV offering, as well as its world-renowned car and motorcycle range. There really is something for everyone, not just the dedicated boat enthusiasts.
“The show is always one of the most important in the calendar for Honda (UK) and we’re delighted to be back here as an official sponsor,” said Iain Radcliffe, Marketing Communications Manager, Honda (UK), Power Equipment.
“There is no other show where visitors can experience the breadth of Honda’s entire product range. The stage is completely unique because the event attracts all kinds of visitors so it’s imperative that we create a stand that caters for everyone. Displays not only include our marine portfolio but also models from Honda’s ATV and Energy ranges.”
The Southampton International Boat Show runs from 14 – 23 September 2007.
