Fished the jetty yesterday from 13.45 till 20.30, lovely swell running and the sea was a nice colour. Didn't get a bite untill the tide began to ebb at around 16.30 and then the cod and big whities started to come. Ended up with two cod at 3lb13oz and 2lb9oz and lost another, also had nine good whitng between 1lb3oz and 1lb15oz. Best bait was razor and squid or rag and razor.

Gilbo do you not lose loads of lead on the jetty. I had a nightmare last time down on there. It was rock city and i must have lost 7 sinkers and rigs.
Do you go on the end and cast out in the channel. Or half way and onto the rocks.
i DREAD GOING BACK ON AGAIN.
