WARNING!
Hoax warnings don't usually scare me, but this one is
important........

If someone comes to your front door and says they are
conducting a survey and asks you to show them your arse,

DO NOT show them your arse.

This is a scam; they just want to see your arse.

I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid and cheap

:D

Yep it's a hoax, this one did the rounds at work quite a while back, it served its purpose though and clogged up the email servers as more and more people forwarded the mail around.

Every now & then I get a couple of rings on my mobile from a 070...... number then they hang up. I'm assuming it's a premium rate number and they are hoping I'll call them back.

laughed out loud (genuinely) at Ells post.. thanks though Alan for the warnings, you just never know, it always pays to err on the side of caution.

Alan, is it not better to check it out first though? It took at least 3.7 minutes for me to check it and post a reply. That's 3.7 minutes I could have spent lying around doing feck all. You owe me mate :D

owe you nowt m8, if those who had already found it was a hoax had posted info to this fact instead of keeping it to themselves then it would have saved both of us time. You know like we share fishing info, or do some just ask for info and keep theirs secret.

Just been made aware of this one

I'm not usually one for posting warnings about potential scams but I had a
near miss the other day:
I walked into B&Q at lunchtime and some old guy dressed in orange asked me
if I wanted decking.........fortunately, I got the first punch in and that was the end of that ......those less suspecting might not be so lucky!..........
