Telephone: ring ring
Me: (slurred speech) \"hello\"
Mate: \"everything sorted for tomorrow?\"
Me: \"eh?\"
Mate: \"you said you\'d cook dinner at my house, i\'m just ringing to say there\'ll be one more, had you forgotten?\"
Me: \"of course not, as if I would\"
Mate: \"Okay, see ya the morra\"
Never sobered up so quickly in all my life and was round to M & S like a bat out of hell. Got out about 2 hours later and me wallet nearly £120 lighter. Panic over tho\' and re-started the merry.
Dinner was a great success but I wondered what part made everbody buckle up laughing and not me. Then the penny dropped. My mate had invited people for dinner and hadn\'t sorted anything and started a plot to get me to do it, and it worked!!!!!! We had a great day and a great laugh and I hope you all did too
