mixed feelings about this. There could be genuine reasons why a member cant post. Iv\'e been \"bin bagged\" twice and the ex always manages to keep the PC! Just had a vision of a posh internet cafe full of stinky anglers posting catch reports on the way home from a trip.
On the other hand if you haven\'t posted for a very long time then that does indicate a lack of interest so prune \'till your hearts content Tony, the pruned members can always register again when they want to.
Welcome to nesa pottsy and family, hope you have a great time here
I could\'ve just gone ahead and started the pruning without telling anyone.......and nobody would\'ve even noticed, but I decided to post my intentions to give prior notice to those who\'ve never posted.
Could\'ve save meself a bit of grief if I\'d decided not to be honest and open about it.......but that\'s not my way of doing things. Next time - I\'ll not mention it!
taking the Tony Blair attitude e TC, you did the right thing TC in letting everyone know, we all had our say and those that have never posted or visited know they are now for he chop.
Oh, I will be, Alan......end of the month - as I mentioned.
My original post on this wasn\'t asking for anybodys\' views on the matter, I was simply letting people know what I\'m gonna do.
Prune or Trim what ever you need to do TC, I am sure if those you choose to delete want to come back, then re-registering is no big problem. As long as what ever you do gets more \" Lurkers \" posting then it can only be good for NESA.
