People reckon they stay away from Sunderland games because of the Chairman and the direction the club is taking,rightly so IMO,so why was there a full house on Tuesday night playing Arsenal reserves,simple the tickets were selling for next to nowt,forgive me if I\'m wrong but I heard it was £5 for adults and £1 for juniors and oap\'s,Sunderland and Newcastle have got the best away supporters and dont forget they travel the longest distance as well,its a real shame they could\'nt get a full house at every home game to create a better atmosphere and lift the players :exclam:
 
Its the Sunderland away fans which should have subsidised ticket prices they are more loyal than the home fans,I\'ve said it before I know of a couple of Sunderland fans that only go to away games because theres a better atmosphere plus politics with the club
 
That\'s right Alan £5 for adults & £1 for kids, it was weird, near full house but absolutely no atmosphere, it was like sitting at the pictures.
You\'d think after coming up with an idea to get the ground full they would have played a decent team (well best available lol) to try and attract some of the newcomers back. After a good performance on sunday it would of made more sense to play the same team and carry on the momentum, surely it should be left to the players themselves to decide if they need a rest, I\'m sure Elliot etc would of wanted to play.
 
Top Four finish is a must for a club like NUFC, YES, thats it what i said \"top four finish\" doesnt meen we are going to get it! i said its a must this season, for the quality of players we have now in the squad, we need champions league football, its a must really.
2-3 years back it was always top 6! now look :(

SAFC supporters stay away because they recognise shit football when it`s served up , NUFC supporters can`t or won`t acknowledge their team is playing shit football, so go matches, lining Fat Freddies pockets.

Both sets of supporters deserve better.
 
Tony you cant just support a team when they are winning,A true supporter is someone that followers there team week in week out,if you look into any business you\'ll find dodgy deals and fiddles going on.Shepard is no angel by any means but theres more people running the club than just the chairman

The fans have enough to put up with !!

Also, Ive been going to SAFC since 1965, so I can hardly be accused of \"only following a winning team\"

Apart from 1973 of course, when we won a domestic trophy.
