SSA casting results from sunday11/9/05

Here goes folks , sudays event was held at the cults airodrome on sunday the weather was dry and sunny and a nice 8-13mph wind blowing down the court all day , the day started with us having to wait for a plane to take off then we were ok for the full day .
the results are as follows

there was quite a few personal bests done on the day . one of the funny ones was ian (Onslow) Armstrong who ran out of line on his reel I told him being a yorkshireman sometimes has its disadvantages and not to be so tight next time and put more line on his reel you cant cast 200yds with a 190 yards of line on the reel .still good casting though Ian ,
robert o.Neill is comming along nicely with his new practice style.keep with the big weights rab you know it makes sense .
and Andrew Knott suprised himself with how easy he has upped his distances without straining himself .another new face at the event was Clifford Collins (no relation to Bob collins ) he says . clifford had never been to an event before and was hooked by the end of the day .
the four juniors enjoyed themselves trying different methods during the day .

christ what will cliff do when he\'s felling 100% and not with flu like symptoms could be a nice battle between him and me ;)
