As I\'ve said on another thread they were cayching them up here in Scotland last w/e, though probably more of a fluke than anything else.

A few guys started catching them in April last year due to the heat wave that occurred just before easter.

We got them off the baot 3 miles out last year on may the 14th i got about 20 from the shore on the 23rd of may last year.

Was getting Cornish line caught mackerel from Morrisons last December (2002). They were big and the whiting loved them, won a match when loaned! some after using Ammo frozen.
