February Lure Meet

Alright chaps, as Phil has already posted about a potential trip to Torness. After a mixed response I've decided to put it to a vote against a few more local alternatives.

So if your up for a meet in February please cast a vote against the following locations.

Torness Power Station
South Shields Pier (Blocks Area)
Sunderland Marina
South Shields The Leas (Rock Marks)
Other (leave suggestion)

I think The Blocks will be very weather dependant, too much wind and its hard to feel what the lure is doing.

Can you still catch bass off the back of Blyth Power Station (Alcan) ? It's a lot nearer than Torness. Just an idea anyway. Don't know the mark myself never fished it.

I was thinking high tide mate, fishing marks like the shelf or boaties bay

If we are not fishing LW then we'll have to keep an eye on the Sea state. If all's well we could meet at the north end of the Grotto car park at about 1pm??
