help for a mate

my mate is heading up to Loch Inver, (not sure when) for 2 weeks, he's taking all his fishing gear up including boat rod, beachcaster etc, has anyone any info on the area sea, loch.....

Hi Mark,

Have fished around Gairloch, Reiff and places in between, during the summer. Never got a bite on the big rod, although we didn't target flatties (of which I believe there are a few). Was more succesful spinning with most (small) poodlers and pollack caught at your feet. Only been once which, I believe, says a lot. Lovely views mind.
