bait pump

Alviy pumps think thats the right spelling lol get the thin pump. if ya know any one with one go with them and watch them before ya buy one.

i was once thinking of getting a bait pump but changed my mind after chatting to a bait digger on blyth beach last year and was told they wont work on our coastline because of the type of ground we have, he says they will just keep blocking up because we have hard sand , now maybe he spot on or he just doesnt want me collecting my own bait.... but if anyone is using one on our coastline would be grateful to here how they do .. because they aint cheep.

I think he's been pulling your leg mate, as I as well as many others use them on our coastline with excellent results, correct tides etc .

excellent m8 thanks am getting one seen them used on youtube they look the business (altho i hear theres a knack to it ) but practice makes perfect :)

Its not as easy as it looks with a pump. If you're good with both a fork and a pump there isn't much difference in speed when extracting worm. Dont forget that video has been edited.

i would deffo invest in a pump mate i have dug on a beach with some good bait diggers and we are getting about 150 worm the lads who come on with a pump are getting 400 to 500 worm and make it look easy without breaking a sweat the pump you need are the slim alvey ones that are half a foot longer than the normal slim alveys
