17 sized cod in August

welldone mate, wos oot meself last nite fished couple hours either sid of low water and had coalies flatties an eel and 3 codlin around the 1-2lb mark
the bigger one put up a canny scrap on me light gear also did the eel it was a couple ft long

all fish taken on rag

That would have meant keeping all of the fish and spending more time with the camera instead of fishing. I came back with half a flask of coffee - now you know how busy I was!!

Well done mate. Kieth and I fished a mark in Tynemouth on Thursday. I had gone down to wittness the 0.0m LW and to look at some of the rock features on the beach.
We fished a couple of the marks and had exactly the same!
Codling a chuck. Sizing from 1 to 2.5lb. A total of over 10lb for seven fish!
We were using rag and mussell!
Can't wait to see what may be from late September!
Good effort on venturing out.
