After catching a good few mackerel between us we set up the floats. I was floating with rag and Mitchel was using jellyworms.
I was plauged with small coalies and undersize pollock, around 25ish in total.
After half an hour Mitchels float with the jellyworm on darted under, he struck into it and in retreiving it the line snapped it was gone.
So he set up another float and within about 15mins he hooked into this fella :o

After a while aye got sick of the coalies and decided to give that deep spinning ago, which henry gillby swears by. After a few cast i was straight into a nice pollock :thumbright:

By this time Mitchel changed to the jellyworm and we were both in, mental eh! It was a crazy hour hooking into alot of pollock. Between us we lost 5 decent fish aswell.

To be honest this is my best fishing session am sure Mitchel would agree. Between us we caught about 40- 50 fish.

well done lads some great fish.

i went up there two weeks ago but the wife would not walk down to the mark,i was gutted as i could not leave her in the car for 5 hours.

next time i go i will be leaving her in the house.

ended up at cresswell beach for some fun with the flatties.

Where abouts is that mark in St Abbs? I was thinking of going up there myself and don't know the area at all. What gear do you also suggest? Cheers
