if anyones having any look catching flatties where from what on and what state of the tide would be appreciated ive had 3 plaice from the same mark in 2 sessions if anyones willing to share thanks

dunno about where is catching right now but accross the Pedestrain tunnel, left hand side where the boats are is OR used to be a well good flattie spot

Flats on the open shallow beaches, notably the big beach, warkworth and druridge bay

Gud flattie spots include the river don (where it meets the tyne), mill dam, walkway, shields pier, big beach, river wear (glass house, timber beach is a hotspot).

There are many others, u just have to give them a try

chearse for the posts lads ive all my plaice from the four posts on tynemouth pier using 2 hooked rigs with beads and sequinces some decent rag and macreal should do the trick i think ive had one on frozen aswell but rag and macreal defo had 2 of them im ganna have another try through the week al keep yous updated

if its big flatties your affter try port carlisle its fishing well .
