Church Point and Blyth

Well after a nightmare at Lynmouth last night I decided to fish church point this morning!! Started at Hare point and had nothing, so moved around to the north end of the Dulce Carrs and had one size fish before heading to lobster wells for the flood, but nothing showed!!

Moved along to Blyth pier later this afternoon and managed only one small flatty, plenty of small rattles on the rod but failed to connect with most of them!

Decent day out, could of done with a few more fish though!

Few pics from today

Well done on getting a couple of fish.

It is a bit too flat for Blyth at the moment.
Easterly winds forecast for later in the week should hopefully liven things up.

i was fishing blyth pier same time as you, as you said had plenty of small bites (7) but i didnt manage to catch anything and blanked :( was freezing aswell

were you the guy with the tripod and red coat?

Great pics Chopper and nice to get a couple of fish too.

I have moved the other posts from here into Shore fishing as they had drifted off topic a bit :red: :red: sorry about that.
