blyth south pier

went to blyth pier today from 12.30pm till 5.0pm and blanked, five guys fishing end of pier didnt se anybody catch,still alot of sprats about,the sea was flat calm,thats about it.

was out tonight, managed a codling of 1lb 90z from whitley.
sea was a flat as a, no wind until around 8.30ish.

wind was blowing a wee bit, but nothing special.
me thinks it will stay flatish
