I have the opposite problem. I have a couple of plastic drums and now just need to find a supplier of red for my generator too. Anyone know a garage or supplier neat the Royal Q's or north Tyneside?

There is a fuel berth at the RQ selling diesel on the 60/40 split duty or other if you sign a declaration form. I collected a couple of empty cans recently to put aboard and fill as a reserve for longer journeys which I’ll probably never make but can dream about until the season starts.

How much does the diesel cost a litre on the 60/40 Kev.

Just over £1/L last time I bought some a month or two ago - I've not been out for too long because of the weather. Price without duty looked to be 80p/Litre from what I could read in the record book.
