tryed one it was not as hard work to cast wr300 brakes your back no give at all in the but the ss has abit give anther good rod l tryed was the GREYS PLATINUM XS cracking casting rod but what puts me off is the amount of greys rod snapping due to tomuch carbon in them l still love my old greys shadow that was made in alnick by greys now there made in china

ii the ss is abit of a beast, found mine similar to my ttr i actually thought the ss was abit stiffer. butt is solid on ss takes some cast to get a bend in that. crest is a very nice rod butt bends abit more i thought the crest was stiffer in the tip than the ss and ttr. crest was the best rod to cast out of all them wish i kept mine

                            ss

Ive got ss mate. Its a perfect for fishing/casting. Obviously there are better feild casting rods. But ut hoics a lead miles. Its easy to compress. It has a slight flat spot in a pendulum but its nit picking. Same tip as s but 50g heavierstiffer butt. Great all rounder. Underated so you get a gudin for 160. Imo 90% of ttr owners woul be better off with an ss
