                correct , I used them 35 years ago they usually fell apart aswell

                        I dunc I had the Mitchell 624 with the metal spool when you cast it it was like casting a gyroscope the 600 had a retrieve of 2-1 if Iam not mistaken,they were like the intrepid sea squeak
