Two butt sections for sale

I have a couple of butt sections here, one for a Ron Thompson Axellerator 13'6 (the stiff one), and an Imax biceps 3-5 oz.

Both in very good condition, both tip sections snapped a few inches down. I still have these, if the buyer wants them.

The Axellerator would make a very good conger rod, not sure what you could do with the Imax.

Looking for £30 each, buyer collects from Alnwick.

No idea. I've never heard of an Axe snapping.

Was it during the cast mate?

Retrieve.
The Imax went on a cast. About 20 yards into the river Aln, using a 4 oz lead. I suspect the line was wrapped around the tip....my fault for not checking.

It has been suggested that the butts could be cut down to make these into boat rods.
Just a thought.
