hi all!
popped out this morning for a bit of casting at my local playing field!
im more of a fisherman than a caster but i had to test my converted abu 6000mag because the last time i used it it screamed like mad which was odd as it normally casts silent?
first cast and smooth as silk and there after so ive put it down to human erro namely me as i was messing about with the ct bar the other week so i must have unbalanced the cage and spool haha!! i must say my 6000 casts further than the more modern reels i have even though its got a fixed spool and spindle and bearings in the end caps!! not bad for a 28yr old reel!
i enjoyed myself but got abit fed up pulling leads out of the ground haha but heres a question for you! from time to time my shock leader kept getting little knots in it??? any help would be fab cheers!!
